The Columbia River is approximately a mile wide and 1,243 mi (2,000 km) long. This time of year the Salmon are running which results in fishermen and Sea Lions showing up in numbers. I saw a flipper waving above the surface, so fearing it might be an injured animal, I went over to see what was happening. I met these two Sea Lions In the river and think it was a cow feeding her pup.
Unfortunately there was no wind, but there was a beautiful sunset.
